All of our jams are made in small batches, hand stirred and watched over with love until each batch is ready to fill reusable 1/2 pint and full pint jars.
The marionberry was developed by the USDA Agricultural Research Service at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. It was bred by George F. Waldo, as a miz between the small, flavorful 'Chehalem' berry and the larger, better-producing 'Olallie' berry. This jam is another local favorite for its somewhat tart but earthy sweetness. Marionberries have been fondly labeled the "Cabernet of Blackberries".
